Terms of service
These terms govern your use of StackLens: Discount Monitor. By installing or using StackLens, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the connected Shopify store and agree to these terms.
The service
StackLens reads Shopify discount configuration and applies documented, deterministic rules to highlight items for merchant review. StackLens does not edit discounts and is not a checkout or cart simulator.
Important limitations
Findings describe observed configuration evidence. Cart contents, customer eligibility, market context, Shopify Function logic, plan features, and other conditions can change whether discounts apply. A mutually enabled combination is potential stacking to review—not a promise that discounts will combine. A partial scan is not an all-clear.
You remain responsible for reviewing campaigns, testing discounts in your storefront and checkout where appropriate, and making all business decisions. StackLens does not provide legal, tax, compliance, financial, or revenue advice.
Plans and charges
Free includes manual scans, summary counts, the first five prioritized findings, and one retained completed scan. Pro is USD 9.90 per month with a seven-day trial and includes all findings, up to 12 retained scans, compatible history differences, CSV export, weekly scans, and a configurable lifecycle threshold.
Paid plans are offered through Shopify App Pricing. Shopify presents and administers plan selection and charges. Trial eligibility, billing-cycle timing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the plan terms displayed by Shopify and applicable law. Uninstalling the app does not replace any cancellation step Shopify requires.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Attempt to access another merchant's data or bypass app security.
- Interfere with scans, hosting, APIs, rate limits, or scheduled jobs.
- Reverse engineer the service where prohibited by law.
- Use StackLens unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights.
Availability and changes
We work to keep StackLens available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Shopify, Partner API, hosting, database, or network outages may temporarily pause scans or Pro-only actions. We may update the service or these terms to improve reliability, address legal or Shopify platform changes, or discontinue a feature. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackLens is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using StackLens and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend access for security, abuse, legal, or Shopify platform reasons. Data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
